Weddings
To insure that your special day is perfect I will meet with you two times before the wedding. The first time we will meet to get an idea of what you may have in mind and to offer my input from my years of experience. We will discuss music, what other instruments you may want me to play in addition to the bagpipe and when this will occur. Payment in full is required at this time, I offer in return a written agreement of what we discussed for the upcoming event. Then I will attend your rehearsal. This is where we solidify what we planed to do from the first meeting. We will walk through the upcoming wedding and get a feel for what will happen and when. I will arrive early on the day of your wedding, to speak with the photographer and others about where and when I will be playing. This way, they will know what to expect and when.
Funeral Home
Often
the night before the funeral, a memorial service takes place in the
funeral home.This
may be clergy or family led. Some
prayers and thoughts are offered at this time of reflection. This
time is often more personal than the funeral itself. I
will open and close the service with a selection of music you request
or appropriate for the occasion. I
play the Irish penny whistle and the palor pipe. Both
instruments are very friendly to the environment inside funeral home.
Cemetery
At
this time I can offer my services on Saturday only.
Parties
Do you have a friend or loved one who loves bagpipe music? There is no better way to surprise them than with the gift of piping. In the distance a bagpiper can be heard, getting closer and closer. Your friend will be delighted to find the piper coming to their house! What a wonderful surprise, and one that they will remember for a long, long time.
